Although, there's really not much mystery. The trade is Love for Wiggins, Bennett and a pick. Whether a 3rd team is added, or a separate trade is made, it will be a couple of expiring contracts plus a pick for a starting PF. Thus our roster is easily put together (tradeable expiring contracts are in brackets):

Rubio / Williams / [Barea] / [Shved]
Martin / LaVine / Bud
Brewer / Wiggins / Shabazz
??? / Bennett / [Luc] / Hummel
Pek / Deing / [Turiaf]

Seems like Barea and Luc are the most likely combo of expiring contracts to trade for a starting PF. Thaddeus Young seems like a leading candidate, but I'm sure there are others in play.

It's really not a bad team, especially if LaVine, Wiggins and/or Bennett start doing something. And with Flip leading the show... I'm excited!

Corey Brewer is not a candidate to be moved in a potential Wolves-Cavs deal. He's staying in Minnesota.

Uhhh okay so.. If this is true.. and Flip's indication last week that Martin had not been mentioned at all with Cleveland.. who the hell gets traded?

That leaves Bud (shooter), LRMaM, JJ, & Shved

I find that to be extremely good news. I'm a Corey guy as most of you know. I want him to stay.

Who the Hell is gonna play? If the deal ends up being Love for Wiggins/Bennett and picks that leaves a rotation of Ricky/Mo/Lavine/Martin/Brewer/Wiggins/Bud/Bennett/Pek/Dieng/Ronny.

11 guys in the rotation is just too many. Shabazz appears to be the odd man out in that scenario.

Yep this would be good news it also means a couple other things.

1. If Brewer is staying and Martin also then Flip is serious about competing this year and that means no Bennett or Dieng as your starting PF someone legit will be starting there.

2. Corey and Martin staying with the Wolves make me think Waiters is staying with the Cavs because they need something besides old shooters playing SG.

I have very little hope for Bud. If they can get rid of him and his contract it would be a blessing.

Yep I think Bud if he is on the roster is a guy that can end up being nothing if he isn't healthy so that may take care of some of the glut of wing players. I'm not sure I would plan anything around him. On the other hand if he is actually healthy he could valuable as a player and then later moving him to another team. What about trading him and Shved to the Bucks for Ersan?

I hadn't visited this forum in a long time, but this was interesting. Wiggins jerseys were on sale and now they are no longer available.

http://www.mnsportsfans.com/forum/showthread.php/33121-Proof-Wiggins-will-be-traded

Also anyone want to take up a collection to get LST a Wolves Love Jersey after he is traded? I think we should get Cam a Bennett jersey. Just joking guys. In the meantime get your Derrick Williams youth size Wolves jersey while they are still available. lol

Edit: in case anyone was wondering other teams have rookie jerseys and they are available. Of course it could be just a smart business decision not to make anymore. I wouldn't if I was them.
