Give credit to whoever set up the new Wolves press conference
that was a really cool way to have an introductory press conference, that was a big crowd as well who cheered loudly for all 4 Wolves on stage. you could tell Wiggins was loving how much love the crowd gave him as well, I just thought it was a GREAT setup and really showed them all how much they were wanted.

As we continue to document reasons why this transaction was a perfect storm, here's another one. The 30-day waiting period pushed the press conference into State Fair time, which was a great venue for introducing the new guys. I watched both the Wolves press conference and the Kevin Love press conference, and the differences were clear. The Wolves' presser was fun and included the fans. The new Wolves (other than Thad) are not media savvy, but the whole thing seemed spontaneous and joyful, and it was fun to see how happy impressed our new guys were. Love's presser OTOH was sterile and dull. Unlike the casual duds of our new guys, Love sat stiffly in a suit with only the media present, and his smiles seemed forced. The contrast was startling.
Yeah, Cleveland is going to win more games than the Wolves this year, but I'm really happy being a Wolves' fan right now.
