The best case scenario for us would be for this report to be true. Bosh won two rings and it is in his best interest to sign a max deal now as it could be his last chance at max money. Then the rockets accept that they won't be getting born or melo and instead focus on trading away Lin for ca relief and sign bosh for a max deal. Bosh fits perfectly next to howard and can play off both harden and Howard. An ideal fit for the rockets.

Lebron would seriously consider going back to Cleveland then. It's the only place he can sign that won't be another pr disaster for him and could actually repair his image. This push cavs to make a deal for love with wiggins as exchange.

Il send them love and Martin for wiggins, gee, Thompson and Bennett.

I'd rather see Lebron in CLE, Melo in NYC and Bosh/Wade stay in MIA. Everyone stay in the East please & thanks lol

Cleveland is probably my preferred trade option as well if there's truly no way for the Wolves to convince Love to stay. They also apparently have like 3 1st round picks in 2015 so I'd be going after 1 of those at least.

CLE: Wiggins, Waiters, Thompson, Hopson (team option) and Gee (team option)

MIN: Love and Budinger

LeBron goes back to Cleveland. Bosh goes to Houston. Melo stays in New York; Pau joins him. Wade stays in Miami and shows that he's not a star player anymore.

I can't blame Bosh for wanting max money, he took less to sign in Miami to start with. Houston would be a great fit for him too if he went there. That would kill any possible Parsons to Minnesota deal though, so I'm hoping he doesn't wind up there.

I wouldn't be unhappy with the Cleveland option that has been laid out, but it would have to include Waiters so we aren't shut out at SG. My vindictive nature kicks in too, and I don't like Love going to a team that could be really good. Pair him up with James and Irving for starters, and you have a team that will contend.

Even though I prefer a Cleveland deal (with Waiters) to a Houston or GS deal, I think my preference is still for a Chicago deal. I have a man crush on the potential for Mirotic and McDermott, as long as some defensive pieces come with them.

I'm not a Waiters fan, so frankly I'd rather not have him and I sure wouldn't risk losing Wiggins if he's offered for Love by insisting on Waiters. Wiggins is probably the only franchise player the Wolves can get for Love and I'd be incredibly stoked about the Wolves future with him.

If Lebron goes to Cleveland (doubtful), it's not a certainty they would look to acquire Love. They may in fact prefer Wiggins to Love. We would need Lebron to push for the trade IMO for it to happen. So a lot of things would have to fall in place for the desired end result.

I would prefer Marcus Smart and James Young plus 2 more future #1 picks from Boston. I remember when the Bucks traded Kareem to the Lakers. They received young players Elmore Smith and Brian Winters, and new draft picks Dave Meyers and Junior Bridgeman. The Lakers won the deal because Kareem was one of the best of all time and they went on to win multiple titles. However, this trade helped the Bucks immediately rebuild and was a cornerstone of what became a top 5 NBA franchise for almost a decade. We already have some good players, it wouldn't take a miracle to turn this around rather quickly.

as mentioned many times we indeed can wait a bit as we cannot sign high profile FA due to lack of cap space and there is a lot of FAs this year, however i think that we should try to sign backup PG asap as there is not that many of them, as we all know that JJ is not backup PG and we dont have anybody else

If you bring in a PG while JJ is still on the roster, your killing any trade value he may still have. The best we could probably get at that point would be cap space that we couldn't use and a second round pick. Some people may be fine with that, but I think JJ's more valuable than that. I could be wrong, but cap space is worth nothing to us right now being far enough over the cap where it doesn't actually open any usable cap space and Flip has a 50/50 chance of selling the pick. What's the point of trading him in that scenario? You might be able to get a better deal at the deadline for him if Flip can resurrect him for a couple months combined with him being an expiring.

If I was Lebron, I would drag this out all summer. Just hijack the whole off-season. I'm begging for this to happen.
