Good signing by Bulls. I liked Brooks.
What is the deal with Nelson? Magic sign Ridnour to replace him and basically don't save anything.

If the Bucks are looking to pay to get rid of Ersan then that sounds interesting depending on what moves we make. I've always been a fan of his. The problem with him has been health and the fact that the Buck have had a significant glut of PFs while he has been there. Ersan is an effort guy that's actually pretty skilled and if he could stay healthy would probably be a relative bargain at his salary. He is at worst a fringe starter especially with the league loving stretch 4s.
The Bucks moving him makes sense they have a bunch of young frontcourt guys and there is no reason to keep Ersan and his salary around. If they would take one of the wing type guys off our hand for him super. The problem is they would need to take back 2 guys instead of just one. Maybe they have a cheap contract guy they could add to make it work. A team with cap space could get themselves a decent player and another asset trading for him although his 2nd year salary is a decent chunk to have to commit to when you don't know what you are going to get out of him. He might be hard to move but if the Wolves make the right move he might make sense. Right now I just don't see it because the contract he has.

Report is that SVG reached out to Josh Smith to tell him that none of the trade talks really went anywhere. Smith is supposed to be excited about SVG coaching him. Makes sense Smith has his warts but I would think a coach like SVG could get a lot out of him because he is very talented. Sounds like the Pistons may have not really been interested in giving him away as was reported. Sound familiar?

Evan Turner to the Celtics for part of their MLE.
If the rumors of Flip being interested in Turner is true than this signing could give the Celtics another piece to throw in for a Love trade

Meh, he can't be traded until the December deadline. Not saying it can't happen but it'd be way too Wolves to have Turner be a part of a package when the Wolves could have signed him easier if they truly wanted him.

Good signing for the celtics. Turner at less than mid level is a bargain. It seems that the celtics are stockpiling assets at the moment. They have like 6 wings right now that could be rotation guys. And they have 3 pf. An uneven and unbalance lineup..

Doogie said we didn't want to give him two years, because we want cap space next year, looking at the free agency class, it looks like a weak one to me...
Re: Offical Free Agency Thread
Missed opportunity. As Flip waits for a Love deal, possibilities are passing him by. Turner at less than the full MLE would be a great bargain. Alas, all will be forgivin if the Wiggins deal happens. If not, then Flip will have a lot of explaining to do in my view.

Wolves didn't want to go two years for him. We already have plenty of bodies needing wing minutes. This is fine with me.
