The Boys are getting into shape

Post by Carlos Danger »

I saw this article today which includes some recent photos of Bennett, Rubio and Shabazz. Looks like they young guys are putting in their gym time this offseason which is encouraging:

With the Viking fiasco going on, I'm really looking forward to the Wolves season starting soon!

Carlos Danger, welcome to the board! Nobody responded to you, that's unusual here. I think this was mentioned in another thread, I'm excited too, I liken our team to the Michigan fab 5 (Lavine, Wiggins, Bennett, Bazz, Dieng). What do you think? With Bazz playing the role of Ray Jackson!

Thanks LloydBraun. Yep - I got the "Rookie Freeze Out". That's ok. I had just happened on the article the same day I posted so I thought it was current info. For me, I was just happy to see the young guys taking things seriously during the offseason. They've had some young, freak athletes in the past who didn't work out because it didn't seem like they took things seriously (think JR Rider, McCants, Beasely). I just think it's so important for young guys to understand the work they have to do in order to be successful long term. It seems like Wiggins, Rubio etc. have their heads screwed on right and that's half the battle for young guys.
