Watched some of this last night until I fell asleep. My biggest impression is how much Flip seems to have his shit together. They interviewed him at length before the event and he at least seems to have all the right answers right now. From his philosophy on putting the team together, to his realistic approach to this season, I can't say enough about how impressed I am with what he's doing.
As someone said in another thread, this rebuild just feels different. It seems we actually have a plan. And it's more of a retool than a rebuild. We are not going to be the worst team in the league the next 3 years. I just cant' believe how there can be so much to look forward to after losing one of the best players in the league. Hopefully there is some substance behind what appears to be a fantastic marketing job.
Also, I love the veiled shot Thad took at Love. He said he's not coming in here to replace 26 points and 12 rebounds. 26 and 12 didn't make the playoffs. He's here to win, and believes the best way to do it is collectively with his new teammates.
Dunks After Dark
Re: Dunks After Dark
I have it ony DVR and cant wait to get home and watch. My biggest question is how Flip envisions Ricky playing under him. He hasnt touched on it much as of yet but I hope he sets him free.

Watched it all last night, overall it was fun to watch but man NBATV did a terrible job at its production, way to much showing the interviews of the players than the actual scrimmage. One thing I took away though is barea still shoots a lot. Also Lavine is going to be damn good. Also Wiggins is an NBA defender right now.
I know it was just one scrimmage with not much defense but Lavine really impressed me!

If Lavine is going to be as good as a lot of people say, the Wolves have a chance to really be something special in a few years.
