Have to ask for your observation of the bench? How did flip and the assistant look like? Are there a lot of coaching going on in the bench? Are the players engaged in the game?
I'm sorry World, I didn't see much of that. It was a preseason game so there wasn't much activity from the coaches. Although Flip did call a late time out with the game out of hand to do some teaching. The bench seemed to be lively on our good plays.

I remember him laying low last preseason as well. I think Lip is a bright lights guy. He will get cranked up as we get closer to the season. And I'm sure he will report on the home preseason games.

I know it won't happen because Glen Taylor won't take the money hit, but honestly Heslip is a better Hummel he can straight stroke it and GR3 has the potential to be good (I am not as high on him as most)
Heslip can't guard a rolling office chair much less bench NBA guards. Allocate him to the d-league and see what he can do down there.
People keep saying Glen won't pay the money to cut JJ or whoever to keep some guy making less than a million a year. He is paying JJ anyway Glen will pony up an extra few hundred thousand if its worth it and IMO if its for keeping a young player like GR3 it will be a no-brainer for Glen. Its going to be a somewhat interesting fight for that last roster spot. GR3 looks to have had a nice showing in the first preseason game JJ has had a great camp so far and Hummel didn't shoot well in his first game but rebounded well.
