The style of offense run by Blatt is tailor made for Love, and to maximize Lebron's effectiveness, Blatt wants a stretch 4. Nobody does it better than Love, and Blatt really wants Love. Sounds like Flip best assets in this trade may have actually been in Cleveland with Lebron and Blatt.

I suspect if the Cavs hadn't got Lebron Love would have started the season on the Wolves roster. Signing Mo Williams and some hype from LeVine would have given me a little hope we would have a chance to keep him. I'm not convinced the Cavs deal is for sure done not because I want to keep Love but because I've always been a skeptic until I see things are actually done. Like you said though it looks like a perfect storm to trade Love to a team with probably the best asset we can reasonably get in Wiggins. If I thought Klay would be happy here I would be happy getting him even if we had to pay him. Supposedly isn't being offered (that makes some sense considering what they might have togive up) and it sounded like he wouldn't be to happy about the trade so give me Wiggins who looks to be a pretty sure answer to our SF woes that has been a significant hole on this team team for well over 10 years except the healthy parts of a season with AK.
