K Love, is a hell of a player, 2nd best player in wolves history, but damn am I just jacked for the future of this team. When is the last time the wolves have the potential of two great two way players in Lavine and Wiggins (I Pray). Even Bennett I think could play a borris diaw type role, he will never be as good of a passer but he can handle the ball for a PF and hit a few threes here and there. If we keep Martin, I think in Martins last year of his contract we are going to be so good. With Martin as a sixth man type, Pek still will be able to score down low, Dieng should develop into a very good player, rubio should improve his shooting.
Sorry for rambling, but I am pumped to see two freak athletes on the wolves next year with both having the potential to be stars in this league, two true two way players. The wolves will not be good next year, so maybe get lucky and get like Okafor in the draft next year to be our PF of the future.

HAHA, I hope not, but the only trade I will be pissed at is the Warriors trade or a trade with Cle not involving Wiggins. I like Mcdermott a lot, so I would not be mad with the rumored bulls trade.

Diaw's game revolves around great passing and versatility on defense. Neither of those are in Bennett's game. If Bennett gets the ball on offense he's looking to score by himself in a D-Will, Shabazz Muhammad fashion. On defense, Bennett's attrocious. Can't guard SFs since he's not quick enough (even though he believes he's a wing) and he's not strong nor smart enough to defend PFs.
Okafor is a center and a center only. I like him as a prospect, but he wouldn't be the guy I set my sights on if there's another prospect closely rated. I believe in Dieng and his future.
All in all, I too will be excited about this team's future with Wiggins on board. I believe if both players reach their potentials, LaVine will be Batman and Wiggins will be his Robin. As long as Rubio is here, we should have a very entertaining bunch to watch even if the team loses.

People keep comparing PFs to Diaw but I think a lot of people forget Diaw was MUCH leaner when he can into the league and more athletic as well.
I've watched Bennett in the SL some now and while I am not super pumped about him if we get him he actually looks like can can play basketball. I'd hope he decides to play PF because he has the body type to play down there even if he will be undersized. If he can actually hit jumpshots he can be an asset on offense. He can handle the ball and is a good athlete but isn't super crazy IMO. His team D in SL looks pretty decent from what I saw. He is a tweener and that's a problem but if you compare him to say Derrick Williams I'd say Bennett is already 5x the player that Williams is. That's hyperbole but the one full game I saw Bennet play in SL (it was his best) was better than any game I saw Williams play in 2 years. I wanted to believe in that guy but he sucks. Bennett looks like he has some legit upside as a rebounder also which I like. Stretch 4s. Are all the rage in the NBA right now and Bennett COULD be one of those successful players. He is a legit prospect and I could see how he would fit in with the player we have.

Re: I am pumped for the future
I think Bennett is more of a Al Harrington / Donyell Marshall than a Boris Diaw. Tweener who can score numerous ways, but doesn't excel at anything.
I think he'll make a massive leap this season and prefer him to Thompson in a trade package.
I'm also excited about the future if we can pull off a Wiggins trade. Wiggins and LeVine are ideal running partners to pair next to Rubio, and sound like they can both be two way players. I am also optimistic about Dieng being able to play PF next to Pek in the starting lineup.

D-Will had big regular season games every now and then. Bennett hasn't done shit in the league (yet?). I won't say Bennett's better based on a mediocre Summer League.
