Inside info from Just A Fan
Re: Inside info from Just A Fan
If the Sixers were to get any pick I'd hope it was a swap of picks with the Sixers getting 1 from the Cavs and us getting one from the Sixers. If it was something like Bennett/Waiters/JJ/1st & 2nd for Young & the 1st. That would essentially be flipping them Bennett or Waiters plus a likely mid/late 1st for a potential top 5 pick next year.

I gotta feeling that a multi-team trade will be too difficult to pull off. Waiters will stay with Cleveland, and Ray Allen will sign for the vet min once Love is in Cleveland.
The Wolves will have Wiggins, Bennett and a pick or two. That will be 16 contracts. Flip will then trade expirings to get a PF and balance the roster.

I think it's pretty much guaranteed that if a deal is done the Cavs will be getting someone like Brewer along with Love. Otherwise there wasn't much point in signing Wiggins & waiting 30 days.

I don't think they want to trade Waiters. Especially for any wing WE have to offer...

Several things I wanna touch on here.
1) Not sure why a three-team trade will be "too difficult to pull off". Philly makes a lot of sense and Thad Young isn't untouchable by any means. There are other teams who could be looked at as third team possiblities, such as Denver or Milwaukee.
2) Waiters staying in Cleveland does not mean a three-team trade is off the table.
3) What starting caliber PF is available that would be acquired for expiring contracts? If this was the case, Flip would move Barea, Mbah a Moute and Shved to acquire one already whether it'd be to start or backup Love.
4) Signing Wiggins could mean that Cleveland was not willing to include any more players OR not willing to take back any of our players. A signed Wiggins + Bennett + Lucas + Murphy for Love works salary-wise. Wiggins unsigned does not. They would have had to include more salary.
5) Cleveland may not want to trade Waiters, but I fully believe that a Martin-Waiters swap would be better for both teams. Martin's ability to score and work off ball fits with Kyrie, LeBron and Love. Waiters is somewhat ball-dominant as he needs the ball to penetrate off the dribble. Not to mention Martin's a proven, reliable shooter from three and the free throw line. Not sure why the Cavs wouldn't make that move unless LeBron has made it clear he wants Waiters to stay. Maybe that's why he included him in his letter.
Re: Inside info from Just A Fan
The "too difficult" is because Cleveland has no more players left to trade and have taken back all they can take back with the Love contract. What possible benefit do they get with a 3rd team involved?
As JAF mentioned, the Wolves will likely do another trade after the Love deal goes through...
Philly, Denver and Sacramento all have PFs signed for more than one year that might be interested in expiring contracts.
I wonder what Elton Brand is up to?

What would it take to get Farried out of Denver?

Yeah, there seemed to be some friction between Faried and Denver. I wonder if that is still the case?
Otherwise Hickson would be somebody to consider.

Miami is still a playoff team for me, dont sell them short. Bosh will have a big season. Ive been a critic of him but with his decision to stay in miami and be the guy there, I can see him having a good season. They added deng who is a solid nba starter at sf. Mcroberts is a good role player and spolstra is a good coach. I get the sense that they are going to be extra motivated to play hard all season. Wade is almost done as a elite player but he is still starter material unless his body totally broke down.
Im hoping we get both miami and memphis pick. The cavs still have miami's pick in 2017 right? If thats the case then i might take both miami's pick.

@CoolBreeze
I would rather try to make a run at D'Andre Jordan next off season than trade for Farried now and address the PF position in the 2015 draft.
