Its easy to get caught up in personalities or "It factor" but who thought Love had the it factor to be one of the top scorers in the league at age 25? Did Duncan have the It factor personality? He is going to go down as one of the best bigman of all time. Wiggins said he wants to make the all-defensive team this year and be defensive player of the year in his career. That's actually big talk for a rookie. I say this and Ii have questions about his mental makeup to be a star but his potential and desire on defense turned me into someone that was excited about Wiggins. Let's see him play a yeaar in the league and then get a better feel for what he is. That's not the point of the thread...oops. Lol

I do like the AK comp because of the size and althetic abilty plus I see Wiggins making a lot of good passes into the post etc. Obviously Wiggins has a higher upside than AK but if he turned into a slightly more wing version of AK that also was healthy damn that's a very very good player. Its not carry your team superstar player but its super star role player like Marion back in his prime.

Q has a pretty good grasp on his range. But with a guy like Wiggins, there is always that chance that he blows up in the league. I'll hope for that while expecting him to play in an All star game somewhere along the way

I'll be the first one to say it.

Wiggins will win ROOKIE OF THE YEAR next year.

If Martin or Rubio misses a ton of games I think he could.

Interesting take. I actually think rubio will help wiggins a lot. Rubio made dw look promising his first year. I think wiggins will start from day one.

Im standing by my prediction that wiggins will be the rookie of the year. I know parker is a threat and he is probably the number 1 option for the bucks. But we have the better players and I think that makes a difference in the development and play of a player.

We have rubio,pek, possibly young and martin. Those are starting caliber players for good playoff teams. Then you have mo, brewer, dieng and bud who are likely rotation guys for a winning team. Having good players around you can certainly help make you play better. See kawhi leonard and how being on the spurs made him into a much better player than he would have likely been on another team.

Wiggins will benefit from having better team mates and a better pg. Jabari will be playing with combo guards in knight, mayo and bayless while rubio is a legit pure pg. That will help wiggins a lot.

Also, wiggins will have a massive chip on his shoulder. After being the consensus # 1 pick last year to people questioning if he is the consensus anymore to being being in limbo for a month to likely being traded for a top 10 player.. Wiggins will
have lots of motivation.

Wiggins is my bet for ROY next season.

Patrick that may be a likely scenario but its not the best case. Wiggins is twice the prospect coming out of college that George was. George reached his potential, but if Wiggins does he will blow what George is away.

I don't know if I'd say he was twice the prospect. Not as highly touted, sure, but not twice the prospect. We're talking about a guy who went 10th, and people were surprised he fell that far.
