The Sobering Question: Who TRULY believes in Flip to rebuild this organization?
I think most of us (because I won't sit through 10 more years of this) are pretty resigned to the fact that we're gonna blow this up again. Who really has any faith in Flip? It would be one thing if there was new blood, a new voice, someone with brighter ideas. Instead we're gonna watch another roster overhaul with a GM that seems to be just as in over his head as Kahn was. What do our scouts do? Are we even looking for a new coach? Lastly, how will Flip, Glen, and co. ever look at Wolves fans in the face and muster up any logic that can make us believe that this will all be different this time around?
This is what we have. And it's not good.

It is Taylor's fault. Always was. Without a new owner we should expect more of the same.

I've never had any confidence in Flip. He had no significant history as head of any team's basketball operations and he was fired pretty quickly by two different teams from head coaching positions after being released by the Wolves. He's a pedestrian thinker and is definitely in over his head. But he is very good at sucking up to people with power or influence like Glen Taylor and the local media. Flip failed to shore up our roster this past summer so I sure don't trust him to rebuild the roster.
Of course, as Doper noted, the buck ultimately stops with the owner. Rather than go after an experienced, successful GM like Kevin Pritchard or a #2 guy in a highly successful organization like the a Spurs, Glen hires a Guy named David Kahn who no other NBA team ever showed any interest in and then went back to a familiar suckup named Flip Saunders who hasn't even been able to keep head coaching positions for more than a season or two since leaving the Wolves long ago.
If Flip really loves Glen Taylor and Minnesota as he has professed, then he should step down and tell Glen to pursue a proven GM or a front office guy from a successful organization.
By the way -- I'm watching the Blazers right now. Fun team to watch -- lots of talent, several players who can create their own shots off the dribble (as opposed to zero such players in the Wolves starting lineup), excellent head coach. All that is the product of a very good front office, which in turn reflects good ownership.

I bought tickets for my dad, my son, and I to go to Blazers v Wolves in Portland on the 25th yesterday and I was really excited. Now I am more excited to see the Blazers.

I think it's unfair to blame Flip.
He inherited a sinking ship with too many holes to fill and not enough resources to fix it.

I am pretty confident that Flip has got us to the point, in his 1st year, where the Wolves will end the season with the best winning percentage that they have had in 9 years. So, to that extent, Flip appears to be rebuilding this franchise to win more than it has.

I agree with Markkbu, We're all expecting the team to go gangbusters this year cause we're all healthy but for some unfortunate reasons that hasn't happened, but I feel that in past years by this time the Wolves are already 10+ games under .500, it's nice that to know we were at or just a game or two below .500. There's progress it's just not what we as fans want we expect exponential advancements and the minute we don't achieve them we start throwing out reasons why it's not happening. Yes the team has started showing signs of faultering, but honestly in the toughest division our team is better that it has been in a long time. IMO.

eh I don't think it's flip getting us there as it has Love being healthy
Re: The Sobering Question: Who TRULY believes in Flip to rebuild this organization?
I don't think Flip has gotten us anywhere. If anyone hot us to our best record in years, it's mainly McHale who fleeced Memphis in the deal that landed Love and who drafted Pekovic in the second round.
