Ugh! Another "nice" coaching job opens up in Golden State.

As Lip and others predict, Flip will convince Taylor the right coach cannot be found until after the Love extension is done next off-season. Hoiberg might even be ready to coach after another year. So the smart thing to do is to have me (Flip) coach next season until all the dust settles.

If the reports are true that Jackson does not value game preparation, I would want nothing to do with him in Minnesota.

Our best option by the end of all of this will either be Flip or Sam Cassell.

I would Love to think about Cassel. Even though he was a wolf for a short time he was one of my favorites.

I really don't understand the Sam Cassell love. Have you ever listened to this guy speak? Definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I'd take Sam Mitchell, but I honestly can't imagine Sam Cassell as a head coach.

Of the various "not interested" rumors out there, I tend to believe the SVG rumor more than the Hoiberg rumor. Despite Flip's comments, I still have a feeling our next coach is going to be the Mayor.

Sam knows the game when he speaks. He is not intelligent as a linguist etc. But he loves the game and has shown he knows basketball from what I have heard of him.
