It will be a long process, much longer than it was in 2010. My patience will get tested. I know that. I'm going into a situation with a young team and a new coach. I will be the old head. But I get a thrill out of bringing a group together and helping them reach a place they didn't know they could go. I see myself as a mentor now and I'm excited to lead some of these talented young guys. I think I can help Kyrie Irving become one of the best point guards in our league. I think I can help elevate Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters. And I can't wait to reunite with Anderson Varejao, one of my favorite teammates."

Oh boy..

This has me worried. Doesn't sound like someone expecting Love. With Love they would be favorites next year, wouldn't they?

Although it would be in typical wolves fashion to get this far and not end up with Wiggins

Without a doubt. On one hand, he says he'll be a mentor. On the other hand, he doesn't mention Wiggins or Bennett. Is that his way of saying, "Go get me Love, but keep Waiters and Thompson."

Only time will tell. LeBron also said his goal is to win as many titles as possible. He'd benefit greatly from having Love next to him.

Wiggins is years away from being the player Love is now, if he ever gets there.

It's all speculation on Love at this point. Who knows?

But either way, a bunch of moves are about to get announced in the NBA and there's probably going to be some more significant movement as a result of this.

By the way, everybody in Cleveland should be writing a letter of thanks to Gregg Popovich right about now.

Hate to throw another wrench into this, but if I'm Phil Jackson, I call Cleveland and offer Melo in a sign and trade that includes Wiggins.

Wiggins' rights, Waiters, Bennett, Haywood, Hopson and 2015 Miami 1st for Love.

Then pursue Terrence Jones from Houston as they look to offload contracts to squeeze in Bosh and Parsons.

Ideal.

"The Heat twitter account has lost nearly 300,000 followers since LeBron's announcement."

WOW! Not surprising, though.

I still think a 3-way deal works with Melo a Cav, Love a Knick, and Wiggins a Wolf.
