How about passive aggressively trying to force his way off the team before his contract is up. You happy with that?
How about the several interviews he has given over the years and all his questionable statements?
How about the throwing of his teammates under the bus after losses?
How about his horrendous lack of effort on the defensive side of the floor?

Why does any player get booed when they leave a city? Certainly Love has given us plenty of reasons. And if you're so delusional to think he won't be, I can't help you. And please explain how any personal insecurities would come into play here. Sometimes you're like watching one of those reality TV shows where a cast member will be saying something unintelligible or curious, and the producers immediately follow it up with a blank black screen except for a large yellow question mark.
Players get booed yes. but it's not like they deserved it. It would be stupid for Heat fans to boo Lebron for example.
You said Love deserved to be booed. How does he deserved to be booed?
Insubordination doesn't qualify?
defiance of authority; refusal to obey orders.
Does that sound like anything Love's done? You've gotta be kidding me. The Love hate/criticism has grown out of control on this board.
Maybe if Love kissed a couple of babies and helped a old lady cross the street during introductions Cool could be bothered to let out a cheer. As long as Love got right back into his cage underneath Target Center after the game of course

It won't be a good situation for anyone involved. Although Love will be disgruntled, his agent will tell him how important it is to put on a good act. The typical Wolves fan is fickle, and will accept Love back as long as he continues to produce...for that reason I don't expect much booing. But the players won't welcome him back. I'm certain they won't forget how he has set himself apart from his team this offseason, and how eager he has been to throw teammates under the bus. And how unwilling he is to take any responsibility for the team's lack of success. The Wolves will continue to be a broken, unhappy, underachieving team.
Smarter Wolves' fans (like us :) ) will be analyzing every thing Kevin does and says. His poor defense, whining for calls, and ill advised comments will be more obvious. Some here with rose-colored glasses will observe Kevin celebrating good moments with his teammates, and conclude that he may decide to stay. But those moments will be fleeting, and Kevin will be counting the days until he can get out. The cows are out of the barn.
As the trade deadline approaches, panic will set in for Flip as he realizes he has to complete a trade or watch Kevin walk for nothing. And Love's charade of cooperation will end. He will publicly announce the 1 or 2 teams that he will agree to re-sign with, and all of the other teams will drop out of the bidding because of the increased risk of Love just being a short-term rental. With any leverage now gone, Flip will be forced to take a deal that will make all of us vomit. And Love will take delight in the fact that he has screwed the franchise that treated him so "badly".
See why I want Flip to complete a deal before the season starts, even if it is far short of what we think Kevin is worth?

Even if you didn't exaggerate all those statements, it would still be dumb considered he's the second best player this franchise has ever had by a wide margin

Put your KLove pajamas away. Take your fathead down from the wall. These players are the same as you or I. They don't wear capes, they don't walk on water. Once you get to a certain age the hero worship should stop. Cheer for the name on the front of the jersey, not the one on the back. Have loyalty to the team, not the players who could give a shit about you.

If those teammates are JJ and Dante, well Dante won't be back, and JJ should be gone and I doubt anybody gives a shit what he thinks.
Ricky looks like he's been too busy with other stuff to be paying much attention, and Pek is probably off Ice fishing somewhere and doubt he's the kind of person who reads much media

What did he do? For all we know, he hasn't demanded a trade. He hasn't been a nuisance talking about wanting to play on a different team. All that's happened is he said "they" instead of "we", paired with media upping the attention on the situation. Is he going to opt out? Hell yeah he's going to opt out. We all knew that. Nothing's changed this off-season.
How about his teammates (Martin, Barea, Cunningham) being worthy of being called out? Martin's fumble was brutal. I'm surprised Love handled that as nicely as he did considering how absurdly dumb that play was. Two rotation players moping on the bench during a game and they deserve a pass? Okay then. Could it have been handled differently, sure, but it wasn't a cry of "I hate this team send me elsewhere" like you're making it out to be.
Lack of defense? Welp. How about his elite scoring ability? How about his elite rebounding? How about his elite passing? I'm supposed to not want Love on my team because he doesn't grind it out on defense? Come on now. That's stupid.
Love's a warrior, and I don't mean the ones in Oakland. Guy brings it night in and night out with superstar production and efficiency. Hate the situation we're in, not the player. Love wanted to re-up for the max. He wanted to stay. He's been vocal about how he likes the state of Minnesota and its fans. He was vocal about how the Wolves have a better situation than the Lakers. Love just wants to win, get his deserved attention as one of the top players in the game and get his money too. All of this can be accomplished while wearing a Wolves jersey. The team, including Love, just have to prove it on the court that there's a winning future here.

Because I wouldn't boo Love? come on
I would cheer Love because he's been an awesome player and clearly has exceed every expectation of him.
I don't care if Love cares about me or not. I cheer/boo based on what players do on the court, not off.
If loyalty to the team means Glen Taylor, then no I don't have any loyalty to that. I would boo him until I lost my voice
