"This is why Lebron will never be considered to be on MJ's level. He has to have a stacked team to win a title. "

I'm so sick of this B.S. How many titles did MJ win without Pipen? How many titles did Magic win without Kareem? How many titles did Bird win without McHale?

The history of the NBA has almost always been about a group of all-stars playing together to win championships. Lebron had fucking Big Z and Mo Williams in Cleveland and everyone hates him because he would rather play with Wade and Bosh?

Look, championship teams throughout history have had some combination of superstar talent, I place no fault on Lebron whatsoever for leaving Cleveland AFTER 7 YEARS of carrying the team entirely on his back and going someplace where he could get some help.

Perfect article to show how completely stupid your opinion is

That fact that you think that article conveys that, shows who the stupid one is.

Here is a question for you and Zach - Why should the Miami heat be able to sign another significant FA when they already have Lebron, Bosh and Wade? Oh because the poor babies failed to win a title this season, after winning the last two. Why don't we get rid of the cap an guaranty that we can put 7 seven superstars on the Lakers so they are guaranteed a title. Maybe they could get rid of guaranteed deals and then Wade could be paid what he is worth. Under 10 mil would be reasonable in my estimation. Did Bosh look like a 20 mil player last season? These players have got exactly what they asked for and more, and they still aren't happy.

25+ other teams would kill for the Miami roster, but I am supposed to feel pity because they can't always win a title. How many titles have Minny, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Toronto, Memphis, Charlotte, etc. won in the last 30 years?

"COMPETITION". First thing they should teach these clowns in the rookie symposium. Maybe they should cancel the games, and just have dunk contests each night.

"Bosh didn't look like a 20 million dollar player"

That statement only looks like that because of the cap set by the owners. The number seems pretty low when you consider the next tv deals the NBA will get will be close to 2 billion dollars a year. That's just TV revenue too. Considering where the league was when Bosh entered the league, to now, good lord every NBA player is underpaid.

Also teams not winning titles have nothing to do with revenue. Wolves have had countless opportunities to build championship quality teams

Last time I checked, MJ didn't up and leave to find better teammates! He stuck around while they built a contender. He listened to his coach on what he needed to do to help that along.

Lebron is crying about playing with Bosh and Wade as well as bench guys like Ray Allen.

Micheal had PIppen and Jackson! Why would he need to leave? Why would Duncan need to leave when he has Pop,Manu, and Parker? Lebron had Mo Williams. Mike Brown, and Larry Hughes.

How exactly is Lebron crying? He hasn't made any decision yet

Do you think he realizes how much money the nets lost last season trying to stack a team?

Do you think he understands that players taking less to stack teams is undercutting the spirit of competition in the league?

Lebron is crying because the stacked team he created didn't win its' third title in four seasons so he might take his ball and go somewhere else. What a bunch of pussies we now have representing the NBA.

Hey Jared, let me know when you pony up $500 mil to own a franchise to make $10 mil a year!

Do you expect your investments to go up in value?

To be fair, the owners make quite a bit each year. It's not all in cash, but I would say even Prokhorov has made money on the Nets with the way franchise values have climbed.

That said, I agree that guys like Dudley would be making the minimum if it weren't for the player max.

That thinking isn't being fair. With the exception of the clippers, most of these franchises aren't returning any more on investments than if the owners put their money in other vehicles. More importantly is the fact that they can lose money as well.

Most of these owners are active in their teams in one respect or another. Shouldn't they be paid for that time? What happens when some of the owners lose money like Taylor? I don't see Dudley handing back some of his paycheck. The players are quick to state this is a business when it suits their purpose, but a group investing hundreds of millions isn't allowed to make a profit?

Dudley's complaining about big markets not being able or willing to spend ridiculous sums of money to build super teams. So NY has asked Melo to take a paycut so they have more space to sign other guys. I have a solution for Dudley and these other candy asses. Stop crying about your situation and play harder to make it better. I think they should go to a hard cap and then Dudley will realize how easy they had it. Everyone isn't supposed to get a trophy!

This is why Lebron will never be considered to be on MJ's level. He has to have a stacked team to win a title.

Bruce Willis said it best in The Last BoyScout. FA has ruined the game!

What the hell are you talking about? The Clippers just sold for 2 billion dollars! He bought them for 13 million. That's a return on investment if I've ever seen it.

Glen could sell the team tomorrow and get enough to buy Lebron about 50 times over.

Last time I looked, most "well off people" expect to double their money every five years in high risk investments. That 12 mil investment Sterling made would have grown to around a billion. So he doubled that, good for him.

You either way overestimate what the wolves are worth, or way underestimate what Lebron is worth.

MJ didn't win a title for about 8 years, while Lebron was in the finals in his second year I believe. Doesn't sound like his cast was that bad.

I guess you haven't heard of "The Decision".

MJ's Bulls were a really good team for years before they won their title, they just had to contend with the Bad Boys Pistons and Bird's Celtics. Lebron's Cavs teams never progressed in terms of talent the way the Bulls did
