Instead of coming up with whose the best players in franchise history which is kind of easy, I'd rather have a thread of whose the best at individual aspects in Timberwolves history
Best scorer:
Kevin Love. It's pretty close with KG though
Best rebounder
KG. It's also pretty close with Love though
Best shooter
Wally. Best form I've ever seen. Too bad he had lead in his feet and was asked to do too much most of his time here.
Best defender
Overall KG, but Trenton Hassel was the best defender in the NBA in 03-04. I remember him shutting down players like Melo and Peja in the playoffs. Too bad they changed the rules and he wasn't close to the same.
Best role player:
Fred Hoiberg. 50-40-90 guy what can you say? There isn't a ton of competition on this catergory. Hassel, sam mitchell? Joe smith?
Feel free to add others
Best in franchise history

Best passer
Ricky Rubio. Most talented passer in the NBA, in my opinion. I don't think we've ever had someone that can do what he can.

KG is the best overall player in team history hands down. But Love is a superior scorer and rebounder without a doubt.

Guess I'm not looking at career averages but who is the best scorer and nobody has matched the Love of the past three years.
Re: Best in franchise history
I don't think many significant role player stayed with the Wolves for very long so I am going to have to go with Sam Mitchell on that one. I've also give him the best vet leader as well. This team needs one of those guys so badly right now.
Some people forget how well Marbury played as a true PG when he was here. I don't think Rubio is far and away a better passer than Marbury was as Wolf. Is Rubio a better passer? Yeah probably but right now I am gonna give Marbury some props here that he deserves.

KG is still the superior scorer. KG shot 50%, Love shot 45%.
