Congrats to Rick Adelman for being ranked 17th among your head coaching peers this season.

I think the only reason he was ranked that high was because of his legacy. His rotations and the way he handled the bench should have placed him in the bottom twenty.

This comment couldn't be any more true. Adelman has a good rep in the league, and to rank him lower than this would have been considered disrespectful to one of the NBA's good guys.

What makes me happiest about this list is that I don't have to worry anymore about how good or bad a coach Adelman is...my head is already in next year. And I'm happy to see 2 rookies finish 7th and 11th (I might have ranked Hornacek as high as 3rd or 4th). I suspect the next Wolves coach will be top 10 in next year's listing.

I think the Rockets saw that he was finished when they didn't keep him.
