I really like Smart for us. He is a physically guard that we simply lack.

Re: What if?
I am concerned about Embid back. When is the last time a young center like him with injury history went on to have a long healthy NBA career? This is not the first time he has had back issues.
I would love to trade down, but Dante Exum has the chance to be the best SG in the league in 5 years.

At 12 we take Stauskas.
Look to trade K-Mart, but fine keeping him another year while NK gets his feet wet.
Still try and trade Pekovic for Deng/Hayward.
Rubio/Afflalo/Deng/Love/Dieng.
Yes please to that starting lineup.
So the Wovles get the #3 pick in the best draft in a decade and they trade it for Affalo? Stauskas would be there at 13.
Thats ridiculous.

A two-way, upper tier SG signed two more years at fair value + a lottery pick? Take into account that I'm not an Embiid guy, meaning that Randle would be BPA in my eyes and we're trying to keep Love. It's something I'd think about for sure.
Exum doesn't excite me. Vonleh is a nice prospect, but again, I'm drafting with intent on keeping Love. Smart... I'd think about it, but he's not a sure thing either.
Afflalo and Stauskas (assuming he's available) for Embiid? Again, it depends on what you think of Embiid over the long run. Not to mention what you think abou Dieng. We lack perimeter players and I'd be getting two of them.
Rubio, Stauskas, Afflalo, Martin >>>> Rubio, Barea, Martin, Budinger
Love, Pekovic, Dieng, Turiaf < Love, Pekovic, Dieng, Embiid, Turiaf.

If they get the 3 pick do anything possible to trade up and get wiggens... wont get the three pick so none of this matters

Re: What if?
Hate to say, this squad needs defense not scoring....Plus teams with above average bench players/rotations are elite.
Clippers, San Antonio both have bench players who can maintain if not add to the lead. We need to seriously address our Bench, and figure out what to do with Pek. Brewer, Budinger, Martin, Turiaf, and a Solid drive and dish PG would be nice as a bench
I like Exum, or a A. Gordon
