Stauskas Watch

I'm not 100 percent on this guys overall game yet mainly on the defensive side but he can flat out shoot and that's always valuable.

He plays on ESPN at 7:00 ET tonight.

Certainly is an interesting option. A SG that can shoot and handle the ball would be huge for this team.

14 points at the half. Can't give Stauskas any room (4-5 3P right now). Also had a deeeep three. Range for days. Love it. Also has two assists.

2nd round pick: Scotty Wilbekin. Just plays the game the right way. Best perimeter defender in college basketball. Gone through adversity and always comes out stronger. Improved handle and shooting this year. Would love to groom him as a bench PG.

If he keeps playing solid and they go on a nice run in the tourney he will go higher than we would be picking if we miss the playoffs.

I don't see how he can, all_day. Take a look at all the studs ahead of him. Right now draftexpress has him at 20, and there are just too many great picks ahead of him. Stauskas is really good, but this draft is loaded. I think he only moves ahead of our slot (if we even end up with a pick in this draft) if a lot of guys elect not to come out...and I don't see that happening.

Every year a few highly ranked players elect not to come out. Plus all it takes is one team to fall in love with a player, it happens in every draft. Also honestly at this point in the process mock drafts or rankings don't mean jack its waaayyyyyy to early.
