Gorgui's first five starts

Post by longstrangetrip [enjin:6600564] »

are in the book, and the stats are impressive to say the least. 12.2 points, 13.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.2 steals. 56% from the field and 71% from the line. Small sample size, but who's fault is that? :furious:

Five starts and he got 5 blocks in his first game starting, I was hoping to see more from him after that but he hasn't registered even one in the past two games. That said I'm still very pleased with his performances

As I said in the game thread, if Shabazz never amounts to anything we could still view the McCollum trade as being strongly in our favor if Dieng continues to progress. Imagine Dieng with a season of actual game experience and quality coaching! Those numbers are crazy given just how raw he really is!!

Those are some sweet stats, hopefully he can keep it up the rest of the game. Injuries are never a good thing so I'm not happy Pek but I am really happy Dieng is finally getting a chance with consistent playing time, it's too bad it took an injury to force our terrible coach to finally play him.
