I've championed him (Britt Robson) before. Here he is again. I can't disagree with much in this recent article.

It's a few days old, but still relevant, considering the changes he suggested have not happened en masse.

I don't feel any article on the Wolves can really crush it unless the author suggests that the Wolves immediately trade Love, Pek, Blonde Ricky and Martin for Eric Gordon, Bargnani, Javale Mcgee, and Darrell Arthur.

I agree with basically everything in that article. I didn't see them hit on getting Shabazz more minutes in the place of some of the rotation guys. I would like to see if Shabazz could play Cunningham's role next year as the SF/PF backup. Undersized yes, but physical enough to do it.

Robson may be the best basketball writer in the country...he at least is best at covering the Wolves. And he knows music and politics too. smart guy.
I almost always agree with his takes, and I'm 90% on board with this article. I really likes some of the stats he provided...very revealing. I don't agree with his take that Bud is getting better slowly and deserves his minutes. Bud's an easy guy to cheer for and I think there is some wishful thinking by Britt here, because his recent shooting stats are not good. And his defense remains horrendous.
Someone mentioned that Robson doesn't appear to call out Adelman here. I disagree. The beauty of Robson's writing style is that he says a lot between the lines. I see this article as a complete indictment of Adelman.
Thanks for posting, Abe. I forget to read Robson so it's good to see it on this forum.

Great insights from the best writer covering Wolves basketball. Like Long, my only disagreement is Budinger. Otherwise, I think Britt hit it out of the park.
Reading Britt's article reinforced my view that Flip needs to replace Adelman and make significant roster changes over the summer, including a change that either replaces Martin on the roster or bumps him back to the bench in something like a 6th man role.
To make the necessary roster improvements, we will need every possible asset at our disposal and one of those assets is our 1st round pick. I still see no realistic hope of making the playoffs, so I'm more concerned about winning too many games and finishing 9th in the West ahead of the Suns, in which case we will lose our 1st round pick this year. I'm not arguing that we deliberately lose games. But at this point, I'd shy away from the maneuvers Britt suggested because I actually do think they might improve us to the point where we pass the Suns and lose our 1st round pick. Instead, I'm hoping that Adelman stays the course this season -- sticking with JJ in the 4th and continuing with Martin and Brewer as his starting wings. My only tweak would be giving Shabazz and Dieng far more minutes going forward so we can get a better sense of their potential and so they can get more game experience.
