I bet we see a 4 point, 10 assist, 6 rebound, 3 steal statline from Rubio tonight. Guy has to be gassed from last night. He can still help us win with numbers like that, though.

He's at career highs in all of the shooting percentage categories: 2Pt, 3Pt, FT, eFG, and TS. Good stuff.

Besides whatever work he's been putting in through practice and coaching, I just think he's flat out quicker. A lot of these layups are wide open because he's blowing by people. Remember it wasn't that long ago that he had the ACL surgery.

I was thinking the same thing Q. He doesn't even rely on the PnR to get by the guy. I also don't see any reason he won't be at full strength tonight. The guy is 23 years old, and I am sure he will be able to manage the game just fine. I do worry about him keeping up with Beverly, and how he will handle the aggressive D. We need to run a lot of picks at Beverly to try and slow him down.

You can see it in his eyes on nights like last night, when he knows he can beat his defender off the dribble at will. Even in the fourth quarter when he had to be dead tired, he still had no problem breaking down whomever was trying to guard him. It's interesting how he favors his left hand on his drives to the basket, but he has started going to his right a little to balance it out.

Not going to be easy for Ricky tonight against Patrick Beverly. Although Ricky will enjoy a nice height advantage, Beverly is as good as any point guard defensively.
