Gotta win tonight first. Yeah there's no Dwight, but Harden's still suiting up and T.Jones just had 30 the other night.

Just posted the GDT, cam. What's up with your Gator boy recently? We need him to stay cold.

Lol 19/9/5 line tonight on 8-15 shooting. Nothing pulls a player out of a slump like a game against the Wolves.

Even though Memphis almost upset the Heat last night (only an unbelievable finish led by the best player in basketball, LBJ, prevented this) more important was the sight of Gasol limping to the locker room with a bad ankle. I never wish injuries on anyone (okay, maybe sometimes on people I don't like ;-) ), but Gasol's absence may give the Wolves a major boost. Memphis' record without him is terrible (unlike the Wolves record without Pek) and we play them on Monday. I think we beat them without him. Ankle injuries can be troubling for big guys, and I wouldn't mind seeing Gasol behind the bench for a couple weeks.

With Phoenix faltering and facing a brutal schedule, I'm becoming increasingly concerned about ending up in Kahn purgatory...damn him. We need to sweep Memphis in our two remaining games and take care of business against lesser opponents.

Optimism hasn't wavered even after the HOU loss? We really needed that one. I don't feel good about catching either PHO or MEM, but... there's a chance.

The Houston loss didn't deflate me very much...nobody wins much at Houston, even with Dwight out. Especially when Parsons, Harden and Beverly are playing like that. What did knock my optimism down a bit was the minutes Dopey Adelman gave to Budinger. I thought Rick had figured it out the previous two games when he limited Bud to 5 minutes, but I underestimated his stubbornness. It's difficult to say what is worse these days...Bud's shooting or his defense. They're both terrible.

But this Gasol injury is interesting. At first they were calling him day to day, but the latest report is he needs to be reevaluated. That usually means something more serious, or at least it does when it's Pek. If Gasol is out a couple weeks, we're right back in this. Gotta win the next two.

You're probably correct. When our big man's injury needs to be reevaluated, it turns into another three weeks. When Gasol needs to be reevaluated, he plays that night.

Yes, Gasol is in the game and has 5 rebounds in the first 7 minutes as Memphis leads Indy 17-13. If they beat us on Monday, I'm joining the rest of this board and throwing in the towel.
