Wolves vs Kings GDT: umm....just win

Post by BloopOracle »

Dallas and Memphis lost last night, we need to take advantage of that tonight against an inferior team, especially as Memphis gets a home game against the Cavs tonight

It's tough, man. The playoffs seem so unlikely that the most likely result of any play push is winding up at #14... :(

I dunno tim, we are only 5 games back with the #7 Mavs very close behind in terms of being able to catch. Our next 8 games are all where we will be heavily favored. The Suns are about to have a 4 game stretch of Clippers, Thunder, Warriors, Clippers

we also have 2 games each left against the Suns and Grizzlies

it's still a long shot granted nothing will be handed to us but if we go on a run the opportunity is there

5.5 games back. Pretty nice eight game stretch. A game against PHO and two against MEM left. Maybe unlikely, but not even close to impossible.

...Even though Bill Simmons wrote us off un national television last night. Prick.

Didn't see you had replied already, Bloop. I agree with your post.

I'm fairly sure we're all in agreement that the key to this game will be the play of respective team leaders Derrick Williams and Luc Richard Mbakwe a Moute.

I'm pretty sure Derrick Williams was instrumental in beating us back in Target Center. He kept the Kings in the game when it could have become a blowout early. I am sure he'll be pumped again...

I'm not averse to making a playoff push. We need some help from other teams, though. We have helped ourselves with two anti-klunkers since the all star break!

We should be able to beat a kings team that played last night. Also the Cavs seem to be hanging with the Grizz up 11 at the half
