I like him as a 6th man. His scoring off the bench has been the missing piece all season.
We're usually a little better at the line though, when we played so sloppy for a lot of the game pulled back in the 4th, it's an encouraging sign coupled with the bad FT shooting.
Want to give credit to Rubio for that HUGE drive and finish under two minutes to go. Didn't use backboard either. Difficulty was really high. Kept the pressure on PHO. Big time play.
Great win. It showed the good and the bad. I hope now that Muhammad gets 18mpg till the end of the season. And I hope Barea never suits up for the Wolves again, he is garbage and a serious burden.
Great game, I'd like to see Shabazz and Rubio closing games with JJ on the bench the rest of the way.
I have to admit I really thought Shabazz would be a complete bust this season and maybe his entire career. Granted he has a long way to go still but the dude reminds of Carmello Anthony out there in how he can physically manhandle other players.
We desperately need Price to take Bareas minutes as backup PG. One assist from the bench tonight and guess who it was from - Shabbaz. Compare that to the starters combined 23 assists. If that doesn't tell Adelman that Barea stops ball movement and kills our second unit then I don't know what will.

We all forget how talented Shabazz Muhammad is. This isn't like guys like Wes Johnson or Derrick Williams where they came outta nowhere and were late bloomers and one year wonders. Talent that Shabazz Muhammad has doesn't just evaporate in one uneven year at a program in turmoil. This is why a guy like Shabazz's development here will be so key to what Flip can do for us. We NEED to not botch whatever great talents we can get.
