When Pek starts scoring the ball to finish a close game out, then we can consider him worth the 12 mil.

People want to point to Pek's 18ppg, but the truth is that most of them are spoon fed to him. Gorgi was in double figures last night, and he has no offensive game at all. Rubio's passing and Love opening up the middle are what create most of the offensive opportunities.

There is no doubt that our bench is a big part of the problem, but we don't have any assets to use to fix that area.

they wouldn't need defensive stops or score in clutch situations if they had a bench that can hold a double digit lead once in a while!

They will if they make the PO's.

I think if Deng keeps it up while Pek is out. It might make sense to really listen to offers for Pek.

If you look at the NBA clutch stats, Pek has the best FG% in those situations out of our top-4 players. It's still not very good (41%), but it's weird to blame our clutch problems on Pekovic.

Pek's guaranteed about 60 million, right? Who's gonna take on a cripple for that price for the next 4 years? Joe Dumars? He's done it before. Who could we get from Detroit?

I was thinking about a sign & trade for Pau Gasol. We could give Pau a significant role with a big rotation of Love Deing & Gasol. Give Gasol 2 years 20 mil.

Trade Pek, Kevin martin, Cunningham for Kawhi Leonard, Borris Diaw, Tiago Splitter, and Austin Daye and any one else the spurs would give up.

The Spurs traded George Hill when he was about the same prospect so who knows.(He is likely untouchable tho. :/ ) They need a guy like Pek once Timmy retires also
