I'm now running the Timberwolves PR department...
Re: I'm now running the Timberwolves PR department...
Towns isn’t realizing anything at this point. This is his 8th year in the league. When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

Look at Pork walking right into the PR machine:
- 4 (sorta 5) different head coaches
- 6 (sorta 7) different head executives
No player has had to deal with more franchise-created adversity than Karl Anthony Towns. Yet, here we are, blaming him for the dysfunction of others.

What teams best player doesn’t get the brunt of the criticism for his teams failures? I didn’t think I was reinventing the wheel for placing the most criticism at Towns feet. So you think he still has room for growth as a player and as a leader? Many players go through constant organizational changes when they don’t put a winning product on the court. Management heads are the first to roll.

Are you asking AbeVigodaLive the longtime poster on this basketball forum?Porckchop wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 1:18 am What teams best player doesn’t get the brunt of the criticism for his teams failures? Or... AbeVigodaLive the brand-new leader of the Timberwolves PR department?
Because my answer will change significantly.

KG took heavy criticism for not being able to get his teams out of the first round too. The difference is he was productive in the playoffs and was the only reason his teams were competitive.

Is there a right answer? Lol

After three thrilling playoff games against the Nuggets, I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that all seats have been sold for the pivotal Game 4 Sunday evening. But wait...we have some good news for you! The Timberwolves are offering standing room only tickets on a limited basis! Now, these tickets will earn you admission into any one of the first level bathroom suites, in which a couple 19 inch TV sets will be set up. Men fans will be welcome in the bathrooms marked "men", and women will be welcome in the corresponding suites marked "women". And if you are gender fluid, feel free to use either one. Heck, enjoy the men's room for the first half, and the women's for the second...we don't mind!
Tickets are going fast for what is certain to be a classic Game 6, but we still have some upper decks seats left. And there are still some lower deck seats available for Games 2, 3 and 6 of Round 2. Who is it gonna be...the Suns or the Clippers? Doesn't matter...when we're playing Timberwolves basketball, we can beat anyone! And don't worry. In the unlikely event that any of these games are not played, you will be allowed to exchange your unused tickets for upper deck seats at a Spurs game of your choice during the 2023-4 season...we're not going to leave our fans hanging!
We're also excited to offer some new menu choices as the playoffs progress, honoring some great Timberwolves players and front office personnel of the past. We're going to keep many of the new items secret, but you're sure to enjoy the JR Rider's Sliders. And we are especially excited about the new David Kahn WaxBurger. We guarantee it's like nothing you've ever tasted before...at least we hope not! You're gonna say "Hey, what the heck is in that thing?"
Go Wolves...All Eyes North!
