I was just looking for an update on Anderson’s eye injury, but didn’t find anything — has anyone heard anything?

Instead, I found a bunch of articles that said Anderson is becoming a naturalized Chinese citizen and will play for the Chinese national team in the FIBA world cup. That… doesn’t seem like real news to me, but what do I know, lol

Ha, I saw that too! My gal has said all season "SloMo looks Asian to me", and I laughed...now I have to eat some crow, because it sounds like he is 1/8.

Haven't heard anything about the eye though. Poor SloMo...taking punches from both Rudy and Ant in the same month!

Ha, I saw that too! My gal has said all season "SloMo looks Asian to me", and I laughed...now I have to eat some crow, because it sounds like he is 1/8.

The China news is real. He is completing the steps to play for China this summer. China does not allow duel citizenship on their basketball team so he must denounce his American citizenship.

Ha, incredible. This is so Wolves-ian. Next thing we'll find out is Ant is 1/64th Russian and they want him to play for them.

I'm sure KAT, Kyle, and Gobert will all play for their countries and you can almost guarantee that at least two out of those three will come into camp either dinged up or legit injured.

This from Doogie on May 17th: Just had a nice chat with #Timberwolves and #Lynx owner Glen Taylor. He told me that Wolves forward Kyle Anderson underwent eye surgery today and all went well. But man, underplayed storyline once the season ended. His eye was pretty messed up.

I’ve had 2 pretty serious eye injuries in my life both in elementary school. They suck, more annoying than anything. Curious if that keeps him out of international ball
