Fiba World championships

Post by kekgeek »

This is still a ways away but the wolves are rumored to be heavily involved the the Fiba Worlds this summer.

Rudy (France)
Kat (Dominican Republic)
Slow Mo (China)
Naw (Canada)
Ant (USA) if he makes the team

International ball really affected Rudy before the season, will be interesting watching these play out this summer.

When I talked to KAT in April, he was leaning towards playing assuming he was healthy.

The only time DR was close to an Olympic bid was in 2012 when KAT was 15 and on the team. Had they beaten Nigeria, he woulda been even younger than Rubio when he went in 08. He's gonna wanna do this if nothing else for his mom.

Kat said he is 90% in for DR
Slow Mo is in China trying to get cleared to play.

Luka Garza will be playing internationally trying to help Bosnia qualified for the Olympics but they are not in the World Cup

Very strange. Have to wonder if Kyle fully appreciates what it means to renounce his U.S. citizenship and become a Chinese citizen. I know Rudy punched him, but I thought he hit Kyle in chest, not the head. :)
