I haven't heard if we officially guaranteed Jordan McLaughlin. I heard one beatwriter said it was expected, but I don't think its been publically confirmed. If JMAC is guaranteed, then is free agency done for the Wolves as I think we have 15 rostered players. Anyone else confirm this. Garza and Ryan, I think are signed for two-ways. Do we have a third two-way to offer?

I think there will be some good players who will be taking a minimum salary to stay in the NBA. I was hoping we'd have a spot left to snag someone like Mo Bamba or Jaxson Hayes on a minimum deal.

So with Garza and Ryan. Teams can offer them an NBA contract but the wolves can match it (meaning a player would need to be cut). My guess is they will wait to see if Garza gets a contract, if he does the sign him to the main roster and Clark gets the 2-way, if no contract Garza gets the 2-way and Clark gets the nba contract. They do have another 2-way also though.

So for the most part I think the wolves are done.

We should take a step back and ask ourselves whether the Wolves are any better next season with this four-player swap. Clark won’t play because of his Achilles surgery. Miller likely won’t play because he’s a raw 19 year old. He’s a long term asset. Prince is better than Brown. Milton is MUCH better than Rivers or Nowell in my view. I don’t expect much from Troy Brown. In my view, Milton is the key. How good can he be and what will his role be?

But I see more than just a 4-player swap -- Minott is going to get every opportunity to compete with Brown for minutes. And between Nowell being so bad and JMac injured for so long and never completing his comeback, Milton is a huge upgrade. And we didn't even have NAW for a half a season. Then you add on ANT and McD building on what they accomplished last year. Rudy settling in. And KAT actually playing for the season.

I am all in on running it back after the moves we made today. We upgraded the bench with shake and NAW being here for a full season. A look at the team and you can say our identity is going to be a long and athletic defensive oriented team with 2 elite scorers in ant and kat to carry the offense.

We know now what Gobert is. He is not an all star anymore and certainly not worth what we gave up for him. But he can still have a positive impact on defense and on the boards. We just need him to be better at his rim protection and be more agressive on that end. He seems scared of picking up fouls on defense last season but we just need him to settle into a 25-28min a game a+role player who impose his will on d and rebound, rim run and catch lobs.

A helathy Kat will be a big boosts. After last season, it is clear to everyone that this is Ant’s team now and kat seems to accept that already. Kat is more suited
to be a number 2 guy and I look forward to a bounce back year from him.

Ant/ mcdaniels/ naw/ shake/ slowmo. Those 5 should be in the regualar rotation and they can provide excellent perimeter defense. Defense is going to be our identity.

They're not, but since they wanna run it back, the hope for them is that the team being healthy and connected will produce better results. One of these guys has to play out of their mind for the team to take a bigger leap.

What is Houston's next step to be competitive? I could see them turning to Towns. They could absorb most of the salary, send some young cheaper players and have quite a few draft picks coming from Brooklyn. They even own a couple Wolves seconds I think.

I'm also thrilled DLO is gone, Beasley is gone, Nowell is gone etc. We got guys who are more complete players, guys who can play a role and not play selfishly.
