No.

I value efficiency over excitement.

I would. Right now - I think KAT (when healthy) is a more productive player. But Zion just turned 23 and KAT is approaching 28. Why that matters is I don't see KAT getting better, but I think Zion could/might exceed KAT's peak. Zion would also be a lot cheaper than KAT.

I just don't see Zion's body holding up. Human tendons and ligaments just aren't designed to hold up to the kind of stress that Zion's size and strength represent!

Heck no. The best ability is availability. Karl has averaged 64 games per season over his 8 seasons, and Zion has only averaged 38 over his 3. That’s a pretty huge risk to take on. Should be able to do better than that when the Wolves trade Karl.

I agree!! That would be a terrible move by the Wolves. Importantly, I don’t think TC would consider it.

As fun as it would be to watch the 'Bash Bros' (Zion and ANT), I think Zions injury history is a major concern especially at his age.

Who else do the Wolves get to make the contracts match?

After this season, Towns will be making $13M - $16M more per season.

[Note: While I'm less and less convinced Towns will ever "get it"... Zion and his health and will scare the bejeezus out of me.]

Those are my thoughts too, Abe. I’m wide open to trading KAT this summer, but Zion’s not the guy.
