Good to hear - mostly defense? Wondering who they put him on.
Defensively, he has been the France PG and has been a pest causing 2 offensive fouls because they hooked him. Then he is hitting shots.

I’m only through the first half because had a work meeting. Starting 2nd half now

I was originally going to watch Italy replay to watch Spagnolo but he played for 7 minutes. So I’m going to pass

Just goes to show though that a lumbering defensive Center can only do so much. It's harder than ever to impact a game if you don't have the ball in your hands. And unfortunately, he has terrible hands!

That's an impressive win by Canada, wow. Good to hear NAW was a 3 &D stud. That's exactly what the Wolves are going to need from him.

Canada defense intensity can be elite. Dort, NAW and Brooks hounded the French guards. Olynk can move Rudy away from the basket, Powell is big enough to battle Gobert (gobert was great in the 1st half and was bad in the 2nd half), then SGA can just take over like he did today. I didn’t even mention Barrett. Canada is going to make the USA team work
