Suzuki and Plouffe could be gone. I don't see Mauer going anywhere, though.

big papi don't hit the 3 hole

correction, prime Papi don't hit the 3 hole

Is that because Ortiz isn't a 3-hole guy, or because they had Manny Ramirez hitting in front of him?

Sano will be .260-.270 avg at best he has to hit 4 whole with Vargas wavering around .300. I could see Buxton hitting 3rd to be honest I know you want his speed up top but I think he's the prime player to hit 3rd especially with the emergence of Santana and you can bat Mauer 2nd or Dozier.

Santana
Mauer
Buxton
Vargas
Sano
Dozier
Pinto
Arcia
Veteran Left Fielder

Excellent point, jester. Most experts have Buxton leading off because of his blazing speed and lack of alternatives. But now that Santana has shown potential to be an outstanding lead-off guy, if Buxton can flash some power numbers, he could be an ideal #3 guy.

Swap Arcia and Dozier, and I like your lineup a lot.
