He has a 6"8 wingspan, so he's long like TC likes. He is a very good rebounder for a guard which showed in college and G League. He's put up impressive assists to turnovers. The last two years of college, he shot 40.7 and 39.0% from threes. I wish we had an open spot for him as I like him as much as anyone among Ryan, Vit, Keels, Nix and Martin, though he's a bit older than everyone but Matt Ryan who is 26.
Did we already fill our 15th roster spot and 3rd two-way slot?
I think our two way spots are full with Garza, Clark and Ryan. We can always cut Ryan and open up the spot. Our 15th spot is open. We do have a full training camp roster at 21, so if we brought in an outside guy for our 15th spot, we'll need to cut one of our training camp guys.
Thanks!

Is he going to play for the Iowa Wolves? I hope so, as he has intriguing length for someone with point guard skills.

We are starting to see guys getting waived around the league. Some notable names of recent cuts include Derek Favors (add him to the shortlist of free agent rim protectors if Rudy goes down along with Bruno Caboclo of Maccabi, Nerlens Noel, Gorgui Dieng and Biyombo), Romeo Langford, Scottie Pippen Jr, Isaiah Roby, Drew Timme, Jason Preston and Michael Devoe. I mentioned Preston and Devoe as young guys I like as potential two way players, though I like the guys TC brought in, especially Daishen Nix after his performance against Maccabi. I assume Preston and DeVoe play in the G League and I'll keep tabs on them.

Kennedy Chandler was signed by the Nets presumably so he can be waived and play for the Nets G League team.

Like alot of us, I loved what I saw from Nix the other night. Solid PG play, hit 3s consistently, was under control, no frantic energy to his game. But I can’t say I even heard of him before coming to the Wolves. Why has he bounced around?

I wouldn't say he bounced around as he only played with the Rockets before the Wolves. He was actually a five star recruit, that committed to UCLA, but then decommitted and then decided to start his career in the G League. Going from high school to G League is tough as you look at high end draft picks Scoot and Jalen Green who both struggled their first year. Similarly, Daishen struggled at G League and Rockets at age 19, but his second year in G League at age 20 he was a star there, but he still struggled in Houston. Houston decided they had too many young projects (even TyTy Washington and Usman Garuba, recent first round picks, were let go) and brought in vets Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, Aaron Holiday and Reggie Bullock and Coach Ime Udoka to try to win now. Nix was a casualty of that.

I will say if you go to the rockets Reddit, rockets fans think he is the worst player to ever put on a rockets jersey. Really funny to read through the comments when they cut him and when the wolves signed him
