Once again, we’re really close in our grading kek. But as usual, I’m slightly different on a few.

First, KAT’s defense on Jokic alone should net him at least a B+. If his shooting had been just a little more efficient I would have giving him an A-

Second, Conley’s leadership in the 3rd quarter earns him an A+ in my book.

Third, Jaden’s 9 rebounds and overall defense earned him at least a B+. The only thing that holds me back from giving him an A- were his dumb flagrant foul and some shaky offensive plays.

Fourth, I’d give Milton a C-. I’d give him a D+ but I appreciate his effort. You can see he’s really trying.

As you can see, very minor quibbles with your grades. By the way, I love these grade posts you’ve been doing this season. Keep it going!

Ya, I don’t really disagree with you. I originally had Kat at a B+ because of his defense. He probably got punished because I just expect more because he is good.

Also, thanks I just like the easy talker after games

If we only could have gotten Mike Conley years ago. I think we can only expect this one out of every few games but he is such a nice player to watch. I sense Mike is rubbing off on a lot of players out there. Once Ant stops overthinking everything we are going to have some nice stretches this season.

LOL, Milton got two steals and took a charge and was a bench leading plus ten, made his free throws but missed his three shots (one of which Jim Pete said should have been a goaltend) and some of you think he's trash. I guess I'm the only one who likes Shake. He tends to play better with more touches, so I'm looking forward to seeing him play more when Conley sits.

Two things:
1.) I like that you do this - especially immediately after the game. It's a nice summary for those of us not watching.

2.) Your immediate grades are matching what I see in the advanced stats (like PER and VORP) the next morning. So you have a good eye.

Let's face it...most people have their favorites and least favorite players. But your evaluations appear to be completely neutral. Respect and keep it coming.

I put zero stock in single game +\- way to much of a noisy stat. Also I didn’t give him an F I have him a C. Thought his defense was solid, offense his shot didn’t fall but in the flow of the offense (the anti Nowel). I’m also not calling for his minutes to be taken 4 games in. He was just meh last night

I appreciate that, also I’m only going to do it in games I fully watch. Like the game against the hawks I was playing poker and the game was in the background but I was not watching every play like I normally do.

But then you need to tell us how you'd grade yourself in poker.

To me the stat of the night was 3 assists for Jokic. Finch deserves the A- you gave him or may be a bit better. They know that the key to guarding the Nuggets is to make Jokic a scorer and try at all costs to avoid double-teaming him. That's why KAT deserves some props defensively. He's probably one of the 5 best passers to ever play the game, so you force him to take floaters and contested jump hooks (which he's still really good at) versus wide open dunks or corner 3's because he will make the right pass every. single. time.
