KAT

Post by Coolbreeze44 »

Brian Windhorst doesn't believe we could get multiple draft picks for KAT at this point. That's pretty sad considering what we could have gotten 2-3 years ago.

I certainly believe we could still get picks for KAT. Cripes, we got multiple picks for friggin' DLO last year. Granted, they were second rounders. But still - multiple picks

KAT was an All Star only two years ago (pre Rudy). He was hurt most of last year and has started slow this year. Still a lot of basketball to be played. I think he'll be fine. He probably won't go back to pre-Rudy numbers though. IMO that's partially due to Rudy. But probably more due to Anthony Edwards now taking over as #1.

I'd be shocked if any team out there wouldn't jump at the chance to add KAT for some picks. We might find out at the deadline this year.

Part of what brings his value down is the size and length of his contract. You guys that are cap experts, don't we have to get rid of somebody before next year?

I think we keep KAT so his trade value is irrelevant.

No. I'm not an expert but we don't need to get rid of anyone.

I don't see us getting back anyone better than KAT.
