I like to point out how high I was on Haliburton in that draft.

But deep down in places I don't talk about at parties... I thought the McDaniels pick was dumb.
I can't read the small print, so I'm going to assume it says how high you were on Rashad McCants in his draft.

We all love Edwards, and I'm not ready to conclude he won't end up the best player in the 2020 draft, but Maxey and Haliburton's offensive numbers so far this season are historically absurd.
Agreed, kind of humbling to look at what Haliburton and Maxey are doing. Ant's numbers don't stand out as much in comparison, especially with his elevated turnover rate compared to the other two.

I haven't watched the other two enough to know their games, but I do wonder if Ant has more gravitational pull and therefore creates more open shots for others by his mere presence on the floor. Also, no one other than his team mate Jaden can lock down on the wing like Ant, although he is used only selectively in this regard.

Maxey... sure. There's that Embiid guy. But Haliburton... not a chance (yet). He is the team's offense.

Consider the Pacers have been the league's #1 offense... and Myles Turner is probably the team's 2nd best offensive player.

But when you add in defense... an engaged Edwards is damn incredible.

33-15-7 for Haliburton tonight as Indy upset Philly on the road. He also had 2 steals, a block and NO turnovers as he showed Maxey who was clearly the best PG in that draft. Gotta believe he's going to join the big guys (Embiid, Giannis and Jokic) in the MVP race.

I’m glad someone made a thread like this. Maxey has continued to improve over time. Both he and Halliburton were questioned in terms of upside partly because they weren’t super duper athletic. Bane was a guy with arms that were too short and he was too old liking upside.

Back to Maxey the guy is turning into a star and it’s pretty unexpected. I’m pretty sure whatever contract he has is looking like a bargain too. I though he was a guy undervalued a bit in that draft but I didn’t quite see this coming.
