I'd probably go with Luke Kennard because I feel like during the regular season we could get away with Jmac and SloMo as our primary PGs (if Conley is out), with secondary handlers like NAW and Ant. But come playoff time, I feel like we need a lights-out shooter coming off the bench. And pray Mike Conley is healthy when we get to that point!

Yeah. Feels like we rely too much on him and Kyle Anderson because no one under 30 on this team can run a half court offense.

Who would you rather have out of these two players: Tyus Jones or Luke Kennard? Both are paid a similar salary and both fill a massive - but very different - need for this team in my opinion.

That is a good question. I'd like a hybrid of the two. I guess one or the other I'd take Jones. If / when Conley has to sit for a stretch, what the hek are we going to do?

To Kek's point, Gobert deserves MVP recognition...we all know this team is completely different when he is on the court, but a +31 is exceptional even for him.

Again, we survived 12 terrible Shake Milton minutes. I was so wrong about him.

Our close outs at the 3-point line are the best I have ever seen. It's not easy to make a shot when you have a 7 footer (or near 7 footer) flying at you. SloMo was exceptional tonight on the perimeter with his 4 blocks!

The schedule takes a fairly severe turn for the worse soon, so enjoy it while you can! I'm not saying we'll implode, but I foresee some L's ahead. It's a good thing we built a nice buffer as that will allow us to withstand a rough stretch so long as it doesn't last too long. The 3-game lead is absolutely critical at this juncture. Kudos to Finch and the players for winning nearly all of the games they are supposed to win....and then some. Atlanta continues to be the only real blemish, but that seems like a lifetime ago!

And our chances of winning go way down when either of our two senior citizens (Bite Bite and Rudy) are out, and they're bound to miss a game or two soon. One more thing. I'm a big Pop fan, but it's embarrassing to see him tanking so early in the season...he clearly wants to put another top 3 pick next to Victor, and he's going to get it. Minutes with no PG in a close game in the second half? Come on! And then why did he give his hottest 3-point shooter (Champagnie...11 for 20 in his previous 3 games) only 4 minutes? Maybe he was hurt, but if not, he obviously needs to see the court more. Obvious tanking.

I will say this, you are both right that the schedule gets harder coming up. However the wolves have the 3rd easiest schedule in the NBA remaining. So it on paper really opens up after December
