Grades vs Heat

Post by FNG »

Jaden B-
Gobert C
KAT B+
BiteBite C
Ant C+
SloMo D
TBJ C-
Naz D
NAW C-

Tough loss for the boys..I only liked KAT's game tonight. I was disappointed in Jaden, NAW and Ant whenever they tried to stop Maxey, although there's a chance that maybe nobody can stay with him...could be the quickest player in the Association.

Another game tonight...chance for a lot of guys to redeem themselves.

I'm still not watching...so who (supposedly) guarding Embiid?

Also, who's running the offense/bringing the ball up when Conley sits? Looks like Jmac is out of the rotation.

They tried four different guys, but it's an impossible task when Embiid can draw fouls like he does and also hit the mid range. Rudy started out, but quickly went to the bench with two fouls. Same thing happened to KAT. They tried Naz, but it was a failed experiment. Even SloMo got a chance to guard him.

As for your question about who brings the ball up when Bite Bite is out, it's a mixed bag between NAW, SloMo and Ant (and even Milton last night). It's not surprising to me that all 4 of them had a negative on/off last night. I'd like to see JMac get some run as backup PG, but I can't argue that the current rotation is working...tough to criticize 20-6!

Thanks LST. I agree with the "if it ain't broke - don't fix it approach". But I think JMac will find his way back into the rotation. He's historically been able to provide a little spark at times and I would have thought last night would have been a good chance for that based on how I read the game played out.

It seems to me JMac won't find his way into the rotation unless we have significant injuries or go on a losing streak...neither of which we want! Our problem last night was an inability to stop Maxey and Embiid, and JMac wouldn't have been much help there.
