I was thinking about trying to score some tickets for this tilt, but then I saw that the Wolves were favored by 10 1/2 points. 10 1/2 points! Sure the Wolves are good, Dallas played a tough game last night, and Kyrie is out. But KAT is far from 100%, and there's this Luka guy. So, the inflated line tells me that Vegas thinks Luka isn't playing tonight. He's only missed two games this season (both blowout losses), he was questionable for last night's game with a sore quad, and it's the second half of a back to back. Plus, this looks like a scheduled loss game.

My prediction? Luka rests the sore quad and the Wolves win easily.

Quite predictable given the odd line (which is now up to 12 1/2) I feel a little sorry for the chumps who jumped on Dallas early, although they still could cover. Not likely though...in the 2 games Dallas played without Luka they lost by 26 to Houston and 14 to Memphis (without Ja). And Kyrie played in both of those losses. Also feel sorry for the fans laying down hundreds of $$$ for what may feel like a preseason game.

Some of the good fortune the Wolves have enjoyed this year is earned...teams are more likely to rest a star if they see it as a near certain loss. More importantly, you need to win those games where an opponent is overmatched, and the Wolves are doing that regularly.

I expect Finchie to not be patient if he sees the ball getting too sticky tonight. Might even see early JMac minutes.

9 turnovers between KAT and Ant in barely over a half of basketball. As talented as these two guys are, neither can dissect a half court defense without coughing it up a ton.
