This Milwaukee Buck devastation of the Boston Celtics is exactly what I needed tonight. Celtics finding out in a cruel way what it's like when every time you get touched it isn't a foul.

The Blazers shot 27.7% tonight on their way to a 62 point loss to OKC. If you were the head coach, what would you be more likely to say to your team?
1) "Guys, there is a fine line between winning and losing"
2) "It's a game of inches. But tonight most of your shots missed by feet"
3) "I was going to put the bus driver in the game, but was worried he would catch whatever y'all have and crash on the way back to the hotel"
4) "With 77 points we could have won a game played in 1994. But since we don't have a time machine I'm going to lobby the league to lower the baskets"
5) "Look at the bright side. If we double our output for the next game, we are going to be in the game until the end"

We faced a very good defensive team in OkC tonight, and while I haven't checked the schedule, we're not likely to see a better defensive team for a long time".Coolbreeze44 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 9:47 pm The Blazers shot 27.7% tonight on their way to a 62 point loss to OKC. Funny enough, Okc didn’t win by enough to get themselves off the record for the largest loss in NBA history (they lost by 70 something just a few years ago). Crazy that in just a few years they’re on the other side of the ass-whoopin

Lillard. The dude is slipping a bit but that was fun.

Not often I root for the Lakers, but go Lakers!
Re: Around the League - '23-24 Season
Yup! And the Laker loss may have been their best chance at a win as they embark on a 4 game road trip. After the Clippers tonight, they play at the Jazz, who are back in the playin, and then visit the Wolves. Denver has games at Philly and at Boston. The Wolves have an opportunity to build a cushion again.
