But if we win, hard not to give at least something in the B-range overall, right? Especially a mid-week road game in the dog days of the season that no one other than us super-fans will even notice.

I also have to give a hat-tip to the Pistons. I know we came out flat defensively, but those guys were making some shots and playing some motivated basketball. Hayes made every one of those damn mid-range floaters he took and Ivey is normally a 30% shooter, yet he was making practically everything.

I’m on vacation and unable to watch the games so I’m relying completely on the box score. Looking at the box score from this game, I don’t see how Jaden, KAT and Rudy wouldn’t each get an A. I assume that Rudy and Jaden played terrific defense. Jaden had only 3 rebounds but he had 23 highly efficient points a steal and only one turnover to go with what was likely very good defense. Rudy had only 1 block, but he had 16 rebounds and 19 efficient points to go with what I assume was excellent interior defense. Not sure what more we could expect from either one. Meanwhile, KAT had 27 highly efficient points along with 6 rebounds, and 4 assists while limiting his turnovers to only 1 and his personal fouls to 2. I assume his defense wasn’t stellar, but I can’t imagine what more we could expect from him than those offensive numbers along with his lack of turnovers and fouls.

The box score certainly doesn’t tell the whole story but I think it tells us a lot. In this case it tells me that Jaden, KAT and Rudy played A games tonight, which means Q got it right!

KAT has just been excellent, especially recently. I loved Jaden and Rudy's games last night. Detroit played with effort and performed about as well as they could without Cunningham. Any road win is a good win.
