Remaining Schedule
The schedule starts out relatively manageable, but the last 20 games are pretty tough. Just going through the games I would predict a 17-10 finish to end up 56-26. My question is would that be good enough to finish on top of the West?
Re: Remaining Schedule
The West is so tough, I think 56 wins does it. I don't fear OkC, and the Clippers and Nuggets would have to go 20-9 and 20-7 respectively to get to 56. I don't see either of them doing that.
I'm an unabashed homer too, so I actually see us getting to 57 or 58 wins.

Re: Remaining Schedule
But your post will spur me (and likely Tim) to begin a Klunk-o-Meter thread to more scientifically forecast the final standings.
Re: Remaining Schedule
I did a quick scan of the schedule. If I did put together a Klunk-O-Meter, it would only show 6 more losses for the Wolves. Which, funny, equates to a 60-22 record!
And I win the prediction thread!

Re: Remaining Schedule
We start with seven straight home games. I am calling it the "Prove It" homestand. Four of the games are against basement dwellers. There two back-to-backs but in both cases the 2nd night is against one of those basement dwellers. We will/should be favored in all seven games.
That leaves three games against playoff teams, and each one has its own intrigue. The first game is against the Bucks. Here is a team determined to turn their downward trajectory around. The Wolves embarrassed them on their home court just two weeks ago. They were without Lillard and Beverly. I expect a very competitive game to kick off the homestand.
The other two playoff teams are the Clippers and Kings. The Wolves have thumped the Clippers twice this season. A Wolves win would secure the tie-breaker. Again, I would expect a very competitive game. And the last time the Kings came to town they smoked us and I am sure they will have a repeat on their mind.
Anyway, it's not unreasonable to think the Wolves could win all seven games. It would certainly increase our buffer on the #1 seed. But they need to "Prove It" to keep the momentum going.
