Call me a pessimist, but this kind of feels like a trap game...
The Wolves seem hyped up to keep this thing rolling. Our All-Star players and coaches are feeling great coming back from last weekend. We stomped the Bucks a couple weeks ago. Late game on national TV. Kicking off a 7-game homestand. It almost seems too good to be true. But the Bucks are desperate to turn things around. They have steadily been improving their defense under Doc. And they know the were stomped a couple weeks ago, but now Lillard and Beverly are in the lineup to help turn the tide. Beasley was throwing up bricks in that game as well. I wouldn't count on that happening again. PatBev's return to Target Center. This game just seems like a trap game to me.
I don't feel trap game at all. It's a much bigger then avg game if anything. It's on ESPN so the audience will be much bigger. We know the Bucks have been struggling under Doc. They are coming in with some added motivation also to turn things around. We all know that. They will bring their best effort. I see the Wolves doing so as well. We'll see what happens.
I don't see it as a trap game because we just had the biggest wolves media blitz in years today with the ESPN All Access. Stephen a Smith interviews with Naz, KAT, Edwards. And a Gobert film breakdown with Richard Jefferson.
All eyes are on them tonight so I expect maximum effort, it's a guaranteed national clowning if you lose
Doesn't thinking tonight's game is not a trap game kind of make it a trap game?!?
The vibe I am getting from the team, the media and fans is "look how great things are going for the Wolves, and no we will get a chance see this phenomenal team in action tonight."
Lay an egg tonight, and then you'll realize "Damn, this was a trap game!".

I get your logic but I think that the National audience and that it's a great team (it's still fucking Giannis and Lillard) they know they have to bring the effort tonight. I don't like some of the accolades and lauding for sure, pumping up the egos. It adds pressure but then we'll see how they handle it. I still think as a whole they will come out with effort. Meaning it's not really a trap game. That would be more like the Chicago game to me or the Charlotte one. They messed around and got beat.
They won't mess around tonight unless they are up by 30 in the fourth.
It feel more like a trap game if the Bucks weren't considered such a formidable opponent. It is sort of trap-ish because the Wolves are definitely feeling their oats after heading into the ASB with four straight wins and finally getting some love from ESPN (I'm convinced ARod has something to do with this!). If we were playing a .500 or less team instead of the Bucks, it would feel like a true trap game.
Turnovers galore. Missed FTs. Some silly shot selections. Bad challenge. Giving up offensive rebounds. It’s only close because Lillard has been bad, too
