I agree 100%. I wasn't as high on the Shake signing as many on here from the start. That said, I do believe what KG4 and others have written in that he might be a guy who plays better if (heaven forbid) a guy goes down longer term and he gets lots of playing time. Another poster also chimed in something like "bench guys are bench guys for a reason" meaning we shouldn't expect them to be great all the time (otherwise they'd be starters).

I like our team as it is constructed. And I think you've touched on this in other posts...this team not dependent on one superstar. It is a team. Guys will be up and down as the season rolls on. But yeah - right now we heading back to full strength and TBJ has earned minutes while we wait on Shake to find his game.

We need more of a spark from our bench and Shake hasn't provided it. And while Jordan McLaughlin isn't a shot maker, he plays with pace and moves the ball without turning it over. I just feel like we need to give him a shot as Conley's main backup to see if he can activate that second unit offensively. I know he can be targeted in the playoffs, but I think our rotation may go down to only 8 guys at that point (with NAW, Naz, and SloMo coming off the bench).

In the meantime, we want as high a seed as possible and Little Mac might be able to contribute more than Shake on that front.

I had to go back six pages to find this - guess we have been pretty healthy! Anyway - nothing too serious to report other than possibly SloMo. But the list is growing:

Kyle Anderson - I now see they are saying it's a sprained left knee. Unclear how much time he will miss. Out for tonight.

Anthony Edwards - Left ankle soreness - questionable for tonight.

Rudy Gobert - Left ankle soreness - questionable for tonight.

Jaylen Clark - Out (Achilles) - Clark still remains out due to an achilles injury, and has no timetable for return.
