It wasn’t 20, Cool. But sweeping a back-to-back is always cool!
Hope you didn’t lose too much money…

No question. For a couple of key possessions there is no one I would rather have. He just overwhelms with his athleticism.

Even when I miss games for other obligations, it's nice to come home, check my phone and see a W. Even only a few years ago most of these phone checks ended with a big ol L

Making JJJ his bitch.

My eye test has him at about 20% on bank shots...I would support Finchie yanking him every time he tries to bank one.
That said, we don't win tonight without Ant's awesome 2-way 3rd quarter...such a mercurial player. Oh, and we don't win either without the +50 and no turnovers from our terrific bench.
All on all, I label this a disgraceful win. There's absolutely no excuse for getting outrebounded by a undermanned small team like the Grizzlies. I've been a charter member of the "Jaden doesn't get rebounds because he has to defend on the perimeter" club, but tonight changed my mind. He may be the worst 6-10 rebounder in the Association. So many times tonight I saw him not get rebounds that he should have snagged. Further, there was no excuse for Rudy not showing up tonight. Maybe he had tired legs, but so did the crowd who had to stand for about 5 minutes before we got on the scoreboard.
But I guess I'll accept that a win is a win. But we simply have to be much better than we were tonight if we want to be serious contenders.

Rudy has a bad ankle and played way too many minutes two nights in a row. He was bad for sure, but it's amazing he even played. Probably shouldn't have. He's so much better when he is healthy and not hobbled and gassed.FNG wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 9:42 amMy eye test has him at about 20% on bank shots...I would support Finchie yanking him every time he tries to bank one.

Jaden is really a scrub rebounder though. You can't have donuts and 1-2 rebound nights at his size. And it's not like he is gaurding the shooter 99% of the time. He's not BTW. He just doesn't rebound. You can also defend the shot and rebound too. But yeah he needs to up his rebounds if he wants to be considered an elite defender. Also not foul as much also. Too many fouls, crap on the boards. Still areas of improvement are possible.
