And who was the Wolves player who did that a few years ago...drove the length of the court for a layup when we were down three in the closing seconds?
Somehow, Taurean Prince rings a bell…
Martell Webster?
Yeah, that's it!

That last play felt a bit like last season when Ant/Jaden locked down Doncic/Irving and wouldn't let them get a good look off. George/Leonard are multi time all defensive players of the year (although I think it was Mann on Kat at the end) and they wouldn't let us get a look at a 3. Kat might have had an okay look at one but he passed it to Ant hoping he would get a better look. We didn't have a good play call at the end I would have had some combination of Ant, KAT, Naz, Jaden, NAW, Conley, or Morris in there. Gobert and Anderson weren't helping us in that moment. There was plenty of time to run a play, something like Give it to Ant at the top get NAW/Jaden in a corner run pick and roll with either Kat or Naz picking for Ant and you either get a quick 2 or Ant passes it back to Kat/Naz on the pick and roll or hits one of the corner 3 point shooters.

Tough game before moving towards tough stretch. We need to crush Portland because I wouldnt be surprised if we slip a bit in the standings on this road trip. Will be really impressed if were still at the top of the West after those away games.

I'm most disappointed that the offensive momentum we carried into the ASB hasn't continued.

Just couldn't afford to lose 3 games on the homestand if we had hopes at the #1 seed. I'm as down as I could possibly be over a 42-19 team. Our will was broken by a stronger willed team yesterday. It was a good game but hard to watch as some of our fears were realized.
