Lakers scored 103 pts in 38 minutes Naz at enter
Lakers scored 6 pts in 5 minutes of Luka at center
Lakers scored 11 pts in 5 minutes of them together

They just get destroyed in the Naz center moments. 2.7 pts per minute tonight. That’s crazy high

Finch also took a shot at the refs tonight in his post game press conference.

“When Davis is allowed to be in the paint for 7 seconds we are going to struggle”

Not loving we are doing the wolves vs the nba strategy

Anthony Edwards: "It’s tough every night when we don’t get to the free throw line as much as the other team. When one player shoots more free throws than you’re entire team, it’s tough. It’s tough to compete."

This road trip could get ugly.

Two straight losses. Another tough game Tuesday.
Towns out. Gobert, Anderson, Morris nursing injuries.
Conley hitting the proverbial wall.
Frustrations with officiating mounting to the point that both players and coaches are complaining after consecutive games. Justified or not... the officiating is clearly in the minds of the Timberwolves organization. And that's not a good thing.

Yuck.

Those bump when driving to the basket calls that the Lakers got last night are a prime example of calls the Wolves do not get.
Ant's dunk attempt on Davis should have been a foul. Davis was not vertical and his off hand was on the body of Ant. Gobert was called for that last game.
The national media said that the Lakers drive to the hoop more than any other team, that's why they win the free throw battle. I am calling BS.

The more I think about Finchie sitting both Rudy and SloMo last night, the more I think he might be doing it strategically. I'm looking at the remaining schedule, and see us almost certainly destined to finish 4th. It's extremely unlikely that the Pelicans can pick up 4 1/2 games on us with so few games left in the season, and it's equally unlikely that we can win enough games with KAT out to finish ahead any of the other three frontrunners. I suspect Finchie has come to the same conclusion, and has decided he would rather finish 4th with a rested roster than burn his players out in a futile effort to try to finish higher. I don't think we will see him resting starters in games we have to win to ensure home court advantage in the first round, like the two games coming up this week in Utah. But I think we'll see some load management in other games like last night. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jaden and/or Mike rested Tuesday night against the Clippers...they're both struggling anyways, and a night off (which would actually give them a 5-day break) might be beneficial.

I expected us to lose this one. Injury depleted and severely undersized, against one of the best bigs in the game in AD. Plus they were at full strength. Add to that the insane home advantage the Lakers get from the officiating when they play in Crypto Arena. It's always been like that and probably always will. I think Finch knew it, hence why he rested Rudy and Slo Mo. And after Rudy's previous outburst at the officials, it was probably best to let the dust settle and rest him for a game. We know how spiteful the officials can be (which is ridiculous).

I wasn't that impressed by the Lakers and am confident we would beat them in a playoff series, provided we have KAT back.
