Wolves/Raptors GDT

Post by FNG »

I brought home a win last night against the Rockets, so I guess i need to fire up today's GDT. While the Wolves did win last night, they didn't do it by controlling the boards as I predicted...we actually got outrebounded by the Rockets. This one should not be too difficult, as the Raptors have lost 14 in a row and don't seem interested much in winning. The Wolves are 15 1/2 point favorites. I'd like to see some Minott and Miller early in the 4th quarter, and give our guys a chance to rest up with 2 Anti-Klunker opportunities coming up this week against Phoenix and the Lakers.

I like it! You have tough sledding to beat my 4-1 record with away games coming up against Suns and Lakers. But you have to get to 2-0 before you can get to 4-0. Let's hope they take care of business!

We always talk about getting Minott or Miller out there in the 4th, yet it rarely happens before the 1 or 2 minute mark, if at all. This team just doesn't play in many blowouts.

OUT tonight for the Raptors vs your Timberwolves:

- RJ Barrett OUT
- Scottie Barnes OUT
- Kelly Olynyk OUT
- Bruce Brown OUT
- Chis Boucher OUT
- Jakob Poeltl OUT
- Ochai Agbaji OUT
- Bruce Brown is DOUBTFUL

For the Wolves it looks like Conley is taking a rest.

Toronto WANTS to lose. Desperately.

Give them what they want. This hasn't been like other Wolves teams. The defense is good enough to put the Raptors away.

[Note: Toronto has a top 6 protected pick. They've made it VERY clear that they want to keep it. They have a +1.5 game lead over Memphis right now, nestled in right at #6.]

I wonder if Ant is going to use this game to try to get his shot back. I expect a lot of 3s from him...we'll see if they go in or not.

A 3 point make for Ant. First in a long time.

He's made a few of them thank goodness. Still short on his misses though.

The Wolves are a great TEAM when Ant is on the bench. The combination of selfless players that are willing to pass on a good shot for a great shot, plus the ability to know when it IS a great shot to take, makes for great basketball to watch.
